Burrowdale latest episode 8 now available, more in New Year



Burrowdale is the live-action sequel to an award winning animation created by Carol Nichol. The first five episodes are available to watch now.


Ongoing Projects

 We  recently completed a commission for a  short  film for Tynedale Horticultural Services (Northumberland County Council) celebrating their 20th Anniversary (Loss Leader) We are now shooting another for Hepscott Park Horticultural Services near Morpeth (Loss Leader)

Heritage Lottery:  FilmAble are continuing to work on our contribution to an oral history project Tales of the Unexpected – A Rural Town’s Industrial Heritage, investigating stories from Hadrian’s Works, the site of a paint factory dating from before the First World War. Various members of the team are archiving photographs –  September 2013 – December 2015

Filmable are currently working with different groups across the North from Coast to Coast, supporting them to make a film for the D’Oscars 2015.

Filmable are working with Dilston College, making a documentary about their Duke of Edinburgh Expedition in which started in May.

Haltwhistle Film Project and FilmAble were commissioned  to make a film about Person Centred Planning at Barndale Special School in Alnwick. The film is now complete.  Paul Adamson part ran the workshops. Funded by NHS/Inclusion North. Watch Go For It! now…

Experienced animators from FilmAble will be supporting Centre Stage (Part of a UK Online Centre set up to support people with learning disabilities to go online in Whitehaven) to develop the multi-media strand to their annual stage extravaganza. We will be working with them on their production in December 2015.
